I just found out I'm bipolar about a month ago,my dr has me on effexor 75mg and geodon 40mg. I'm still not sure how to tell myself if I'm becoming manic, I'm truly scared I feel like I cant trust my own brain. I've been on the geodon for about a week now, and in the past 24 hours I have slept 2, I am non stop cleaning. Is this from the medicine or am I having an episode? I've contacted my psychiatrist, and am waiting for a call back. What are some things I should be aware of so I can identify myself if I'm having an episode? Is there anything I can do to help myself in addition to the meds? I have family that is so supportive and helping me, but I want to help myself also. Any and all advice is welcome, I understand the condition of bipolar from a computer, but I also would like to learn more about it from people who have it, and understand what it's like.
