The purpose of this assignment is to examine the diversity of views associated with corporate social responsibility and challenge students to consider their own views. First, Milton Friedman's view is presented in an article he wrote on the issue of corporate social responsibility and second a couple of videos and a website are provided for a different perspective on the topic.

• Read the Milton Friedman article, ‘The Social Responsibility of Business is to Increase its Profits' - the article is posted below these

• Watch the video: TED talk on bcorps.
