Business Report Assignment

Each student will complete a multiple regression study report project. The report should be three to four pages (typed, double spaced), not including graphs. I expect you to read at least three articles from newspapers, magazines or journals about your topic, which you should list in a bibliography. However, extensive outside research is not expected. The purpose of the paper is to help you understand and apply the concepts we are discussing in class and their application in business world.

I expect well-written papers. Grade will be deducted for incorrect spelling, bad grammar, incomplete sentences, and poor organization. If you need help, make use of the tutors available in the writing center, or come see me during office hours.

This assignment requires you to pick your favored topics to study. You should analyze your subject in terms of the concepts and theories discussed in class.

c. Based on the output, do significant analysis to check how good the model fit for the data.
d. If possible, how can you propose to adjust the model to make the regression a better fit model?
e. Make a reasonable forecast with one or two independent variables within its allowable range. And indicate what the problem is if the variable is too far away from its mean.
