During 2010, 400,000 tons were removed and 375,000 tons were sold. What is the amount of depletion expense that Julie Mine should record for 2010?

6. Aristotle Company acquired a machine on January 1, 2010 at a cost of $32,000. The machine has an estimated salvage value of $2,000 at the end of its 4-year useful life.
