I'm trying to figure out what kind of computer equipment each employee is going to need to find the cost. It is looking like the hardware alone for a solid computer and monitor is going to be $600 a person. When you start adding in the software needed that price goes up to about $800. Each computer will need a form of anti virus and malware protection. They will also need programs like Excel which needs paid for. What kind of prices are y'all finding for the individual hardware and software prices?

I have certainly been struggling a little to find some of the information as well. It seems that some of the computers come with operating systems installed and there is no additional costs for that software. The other thing I am having a tough time understanding is, how is there a monthly cost on equipment that is purchased. If I go buy all of my employees laptops and that come with an operating system, how does this cost account for part of my monthly budget if it is a singular purchase? I am having trouble finding what it would cost to get my employees remote access to our work documents too.
