Game Plan

Today's game has two rounds. In this game there will be two groups, proposer and a responder and will be bidding on box of chocolate of $10. Everyone will be given an Id. All the proposers write P and responders write R and then I will assign the numbers. All decision are made simultaneously but Round 2 decision will be based on outcome of first decision.

Round 1: All the proposers write a proposal of how much money you will keep in column (3) and money you will pass in column (4). Please make offer in $1 increments.

Now all the responders write the minimum offer that they would accept by entering amount in column (4).

Please make your decisions now.

This will be end of round 1.

Round 2: Now everyone will proceed to Round 2 and the value will be $6 now. However, now proposer and responder will switch roles.

Assignment II

Overview

Your final project should be about 3500 words in length (8-10 pages double-spaced, using a 12 point font, with 1" margins and not double spacing between paragraphs. This is not a long paper, but you should do your best to produce a polished, finished product.

The paper should include the following

1) Introduction. The introduction starts from some general observations and works down to the subject area of your research project. You should end the introduction with a short pre-summary that provides a road map of how the remainder of the paper is organized. (e.g., The remainder of this paper is organizes as follows. Section 2 reviews the pertinent literature...)

2) Literature Review. In this section you should discuss some pertinent experimental literature in your general subject area. The purpose of this section is to develop a narrative that takes the reader down to your specific research question. You might end this section with a statement of your research hypothesis, although depending on how you set things up, you might also state your research hypothesis in the next section.

Notes:
- You need to reference at least 3 papers.
- Be careful to reference papers in the text by mentioning only the names or names of the author or authors along with the date of the publication. (Note, if the paper has more than 2 coauthors, write only the name of the first coauthor, but add ‘et.al.) Form example, Anderson, Goeree and Holt (2012) should be referenced as Anderson et al.(2012).

3) Experiment Design and Procedures. In this section you first explain the general structure of the experiment you conducted and how this experiment can inform your research hypothesis You should also develop the pertinent theoretical predictions for the model or decision context you are examining. The second portion of this section should explain exactly how the experiment was conducted, including the date of the experiment, the number of participants, the decision environment as well as how payments were determined

4) Results. In this section you should provide an overview of experiment results with some sort of summary graph. You must also include at least one appropriately conducted inferential statistical test of the results. Note, however that you may well have more than a single test that provide insight into your results.
Notes:

a) You should include your figure in the text. Be certain to explain the figure in the associated text discussion

b) I do not want a print out showing how the tests statistic or statistics were calculated. Just mention the test used, the test statistic and the conclusion.

5) Discussion and Conclusions In this short section you should first summarize you what you asked and what you concluded. Then discuss more generally you have learned about your research question from your experiment. Finally, you should talk a bit about what might be next - that is, for example, some other related questions could be addressed by extending your experiment.
Finally, notice the following

1) The first three sections of this paper were all part of your research prospectus. I expect you to use my comments on your prospectus to both refine and expand upon your prospectus (I will grade your paper with my comments on your prospectus in hand).

2) You must include a correctly formatted bibliography at the end of your paper

3) You must include a copy of the instructions you used in your experiment as an appendix

It about the ultimatum game for bargaining.

I am going to send you the instruction, and collected data in class. have to draw some graphs too. Also, on the excel sheet.
