For these firms, download the most recent 10-K report for 2014, 2013, and 2012. You can download the 10-K from the company's website or www.sec.gov i.e., EDGAR online.

Part 1:

The required tasks for Part 1 are detailed below:

(1) Prepare vertical and horizontal common-size balance sheet and income statements for both companies. Note: Compute for the most recent THREE years.

(2) Prepare ratio analyses (for the same THREE year time period) for both companies.

(3) Length of Project Part 1: maximum of 20 pages (excluding data tables), font 12, Times New Roman, double-spaced.

Part 2:

The required tasks for Part 2 are detailed below:

(1) Prepare a Pro Forma financial statements, balance sheets and income statements for both companies. Note: Compute for the next THREE years.

(2) Analyze and compare the companies and, then, make an investment suggestion based upon your analysis.

(3) Length of Project Part 2: maximum of 20 pages (excluding data tables), font 12, Times New Roman, double-spaced.

(4) Revise, correct, refine, or re-organize the Part 1, if necessary, and compile both parts, Part 1 (20 points) and Part 2 (70 points), into one single document.
