The paper must:

i) Be based on your reading and research appropriate to topic.

ii) Be 7 - 10 double-spaced pages, plus appendices, exhibits, and references.

iii) Include one-page Executive Summary immediately following title page which includes a statement of main issue(s) and your conclusions and specific recommendations. Content of the Executive Summary is similar to the abstract.

Appropriately quote reference sources: these may comprise course material, information from magazines, journals, and online sources. All reference sources should have publication date within the last 3 years. Students who desire to utilize the older source publication must contact the instructor with request and reason.

Costing & Pricing Decisions – prepare down the essay on practice of cost allocations (particularly joint costs, sunk costs, and opportunity costs) and pricing decisions (e.g., cost-plus pricing, target costing, and activity-based pricing) in corporations. Include in your discussion main differences in those different approaches and their suitability in the context of nature of costs, industry differences, competitiveness, etc. Also narrate the implications for firm’s profitability.
