a) Taking temperature as the independent variable, calculate the regression equation, and test the null hypothesis that the slope is zero.

b) We discussed in class the effect of possible outliers on the regression. plot the residuals, and identify any possible outliers in the above data. Removing the possible outliers, re calculate the regression equation. Is the slope significant?
