Before considering any major capital expenditure, going through the process of drafting a Request for Proposal (RFP) is a key step. It is critical to plan this document carefully and think through all the needs for the project.

But what happens when the requirements are very complicated and poorly defined?

What if no one knows how the current systems work and there's no documentation? What steps can you take to ensure that your RFP meets the needs of your company?
