1. Make a list of five general topic areas that interest you. For each, identify the source of ideas you used to come up with that topic.

2. List five behaviors that you could observe in your day-to-day life. For each one, identify one or two variables that might influence the behavior.

For example, falling asleep in class is a behavior that might be influenced by caffeine consumption or amount of sleep the night before.
