The manager of the team of collectors cannot recall a time when a tax collector was red as a result of poor performance. The manager has been tasked with improving the revenue collecting performance of his team, and has asked you to provide advice on how he might change the collectors' compensation contracts in order to improve performance, and in turn ensure that he meets the government's target for higher levels of collection. prepare a plan for the report you would provide to the manager. This should argue the case for your favoured compensation contract, highlighting any information requirements for implementing the recommended contract. Your argument should use economic theory and empirical evidence, including additional empirical evidence.
