1. Journalists and others frequently talk about actions as having been taken by the White House, the Justice Department, the XYZ corporation, and the like. Comment on the effect of such language on diffusion of responsibility.

2. Can you recall an instance in which you or someone else spoke out against a growing consensus in a group and prevented a potentially bad decision or course of action? Tell us about it.

3. Comment on the seven thinking hat method. Do you think it makes sense? Why/why not?
