Dalton''s law states that, at a given known temperature total pressure exerted by two or more non reacting gases occupying a definite volume is equal to the sum of the partial pressures of the component gases
By mathematically
PT = PA + PB + Pc + ….... => PA = XA × PT
Partial pressure of a component = Mole fraction x Total pressure
