Analyze the ethics of one of the cases from the movie The Corporation. Here are the steps for the assignment:

1. Watch the movie The Corporation and select a case that raises major ethical issues. If you were absent Wednesday, the movie is available on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4ou9rOssPg

2. Identify the relevantfacts that need to be taken into account in order to analyze the case study (two to three paragraphs). I recommend doing some extra research on your case study to supplement the information provided in the documentary.

3. Identify the relevant values. Values could include human life and well-being, honesty, trust, the health of the natural environment, employee rights to safety, dignity, or fair compensation, the responsibility to shareholders (people who own part of the company) and stakeholders (people affected by company actions), etc.If you are unclear on the possible relevant values, please let me know.

4. Analyze the moral actions of the company based on the relationship between the facts and the values. You may want to take into account more systematic factors such as the vulnerability of the population or consumers or structural issues such as the role of other competitors and government regulations in affecting corporations' decisions. Business does not occur in a vacuum, but rather in a social and institutional setting and this is relevant to an ethical analysis of its actions.

5. Propose a reasonable alternative to the company's actions: how would you have acted if you had been in charge of the company (or would you have done what the company did)? Justify your answers with reasons and evidence.
