Question: Your first case will focus on one of the main goals for this course which is:

To identify and explain the roles?of the different bodies involved in the financial reporting process, their roles, resources and services provided with an emphasis on the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and IFRS. ?Explain the standard setting process employed by the FASB and identify the role the?conceptual framework serves in this process.

After reviewing each of the resources listed below you will need to submit a compressive narrative (in your own words) on each of the organizations listed below after reviewing their web sites. The narratives should identify and explain the roles?each fulfills in the financial reporting process and what resources and services they provide. I expect your paper to provide more emphasis (content) on the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and IFRS as this aligns with the course goals. Your paper should be double spaced and submitted to the Case #1 assignments folder below. It should be a minimum of three pages in total. Do not copy directly from other sources. Make sure the paper is phrased in your own words. We do have control features that check for copied material so please do not put your course grade at risk by plagiarizing material.

This assignment is worth 30 points so significant effort should be taken when completing the work.
