Question: During this course, the writing and expansion of thought incited by Kuratko (2013) has re-energized concepts and principles I have a long subscribe to as an entrepreneur. Concepts such as the revitalizing of business plans to assess new products or services, even when a business is several years old, has been refreshing. Reminders of funding, and funding sources have reinvigorated the young entrepreneur in me, who was willing to take risks, and chase high yields in short spans of time. I can admit as an entrepreneur who sometimes slips into being a businessman, some of the drive and determination that accompanies being an entrepreneur have slipped away little by little through the years. Now refocused, I turn my gaze to the future of my mental health care facility. This course has helped me to consider, and reconsider the marketplace that psychologist share and my place in that marketplace. The way in which I will impact the mental health community in Philadelphia has become a guiding, principled factor in thoughts and plans of product expansion and client services. While I do not see a direct connection with my dissertation and this course, I am certain that the lessons learned will stick with me for years to come.
