Overview:

For this assignment you will identify what specialty area of communication most interests you, then explain why this area of communication is more interesting to you than other areas. Next, you will identify a specific field (e.g. psychology) related to communication and explain how it connects to the area that you selected. Lastly, you will describe how your selected specialty area could be explained using the transactional model of communication.

Use the National Communication Website to address the following items - Provide 2-3 sentences for each item:

1. Define and describe the communication area that most interests you.

2. Provide an explanation of why it interests you more than other areas.

3. Identify a field related to communication and explain how it connects to your area.

4. Illustrate how this area can be explained using the transactional model of communication.
