In Week 1, you selected a company to use as an example for your Assignment. Throughout this course, you continued to use this company for each of your Assignments. For this Assignment, you use the company you selected in Week 1 for an exploration of long-term, systemic issues. Then, you will evaluate the financial data you have collected throughout this course to determine long-term systemic issues and present it in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.

Using the publicly traded company you selected in the Week 1 Assignment, investigate how it reports financial information. Describe how it incorporates the key accounting concepts in its external communications to distinguish between subjectivity and objectivity. Examples of documents that you should review are the company's annual reports and 10-Ks over the past 3 years. Using the financial information you collected regarding the company you have been analyzing throughout this course (for the SEC 10-K Assignments), prepare a PowerPoint presentation of at least 10 slides that includes the following:

Provide a summary of the company's history and what made it successful in the past. Include a link to the company's website (approximately 1-2 slides).

Provide a summary of the long-term systemic issues you have identified that the company has been facing (approximately 3-4 slides).

Describe what managers are doing currently to improve the company's financial condition for its shareholders, customers, and other stakeholders (approximately 1-2 slides).

Present financial ratios computed from the financial information of the last 2 years that you collected. These ratios should support your evaluation of the systemic issues you have identified (approximately 3-4 slides).

Develop an overall conclusion including next steps and recommendations based on your evaluation. Your conclusion should explain what the company will face in the future if it continues on its course of action, discuss what it could do to improve its fate, and identify any unique opportunities the company could capitalize on (approximately 2-3 slides).
