Hyundai Case Study

Common case focuses on the operations of Hyundai, the Korean automobile manufacturer, in China. (the case will be attached) At the time the case study was written, Hyundai had production facilities in its home country, China, India, the U.S., Turkey and in two countries of the European Union (since reduced to one, the Czech Republic). Since that time, Hyundai has opened production facilities in Brazil and Russia.

You are to discuss the prospects for demand for the kind of automobiles manufactured by Hyundai in two countries: China and in a special country that has been assigned to you, which is Poland. In this discussion, you are specifically to discuss the impact (if any) of the Panic of 2008 and the subsequent recession.

The index of consumer confidence is to be found in spreadsheet(the file will be attached). In the spreadsheet, values are formatted in regular font in the months during which survey is administered and in italics font when they are based on interpolations.
