"Historical Event Influence" Please respond to the following: (Note: Please make a substantive comment to one (1) of your classmates.) Choose one (1) historical event and discuss the effect that it has had on you. Provide a rationale for your response.

One historical event that has had an impact on me is probably the American Revolution. I picked this event because without this historical revolution , I believe we may have not made it as a nation and would not be the country we are today. If it was not for the revolutionary minds during that time who after the revolution develops rules and constitutions and rights that would not only keep our nation safe from ourselves but would continue to be our building blocks to our nation today. Now while I say this has been the biggest impact I also believe some changes should be made from those building blocks in the constitution for we now are a different nation from back then. We have grow to a population of over 350 million people in the United States alone. Let alone the advances in technology which have produced so many groundbreaking discoveries and ideas. Our necessities from our times periods are vastly different now, and while I understand why others may not like the idea of change I believe it will be a necessity for our future generations if we want to continue and prosper as a nation.
