3. Variable overhead: VP=(AP-SP)*AQ  and VQ=(AQ-SQ)*SP

 

4. Fixed overhead:  SPENDING VARIANCE= actual fixed overhead incurred- fixed factory overhead budgeting

 

Production volume variance = fixed factory overhead budgeting - standard fixed overhead applied
