I have the stocks dividend which is 121500 but I can't figure out how to get the stock distributable. Answer: Cash 8,800,000 Bonds Payable 8,000,000 Premium on Bonds Payable 800,000 Recorded the payment of semiannual interest on the bonds issued in (c) and the amortization of the premium for six months. The amortization was determined using the straight-line method Can't figure out about the amortization of the premium for 6 months. I have to have the interest expense and the premium on bonds payable.
