Connect Andrew Carneige's Wealth and it's Issues and Mother Jones' March of the Mill Children to a larger theme or idea. How do these two documents relate to each other? Wealth and it's Issues talks about how Carneige believes the wealth should be distributed in order to bring the rich and the poor closer together. He talks about ways to do this; one of his two favourites is to tax the rich in order to punish the millionaire's that are unworthy. The other is to distribute the wealth for public purposes, because he says it can be made more powerful forces for the evolution of our race. He also states that the duty of all men should be to live modestly, to provide moderately for wants of people dependant on him, and consider all surplus revenues as trust funds which called upon to administer in his judgement. March of the Mill Children is a document written by Mother Jones that describes her efforts to end child labor. She held meetings to raise attention to the problem. She addressed the manufacturers and officials, which did no good. She then led a march which cons sided of children who worked in the factories, to show proof of miss treatment. She eventually gained enough attention to pass a new child labor law.
