Assignment

Reflect on the class discussions and the articles that you have read during the first four weeks of this class and use the information to write an 8-10 page paper (not including title and reference pages) that explains social entrepreneurship, and how it applies to the organizations of the nonprofit sector. In general, your paper will include the following:

• The definition of "social entrepreneurship;"
• Contrast between "social" entrepreneurship and "regular" entrepreneurship;
• Identify and describe three models/frameworks/explanations of "social entrepreneurship" that are useful and relevant to date. Of these, explain which is the most useful.

Your paper must be prepared in APA format, including in-text citations and reference list, except that an abstract is not required. Papers will automatically go through Turnitin in this class. Sources must included at least 3 peer-reviewed references on this paper. Resources such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, attorney websites, blogs and wikipedia (and similar) are NOT acceptable at all!
