Assignment

Question 1

For this assignment, you will need to analyze the process of decision making, using the Thinking in Action scenario from the textbook (Denhardt, Denhardt, & Aristigueta, 2013, pp. 155-156), "A Decision Making Framework." Answer the three questions at the end of the Case Study.

Summarize the answers for the Thinking in Action in essay format with a minimum of 500 words. Format your response using APA style. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying citations.

Information about accessing the Blackboard Grading Rubric for this assignment is provided below.

Question 2

Refer to content in Chapter 5, as well as research from your own external sources to design a ‘logic model', and write a summary of the activity outputs, intermediate outcomes, and end outcomes (you can view an example on page 149 of the Denhardt, Denhardt, & Aristigueta textbook) of a healthcare policy (your choice) from a cost effective perspective for individuals and organizations. In this assessment we are looking for examples of the elements in actual practice, as well as support and rationale beyond the textbook for their use particularly in the design and implementation of your logic model. Please do not simply cite what is in the textbook, but go beyond the textbook content and do an expanded research into content that justifies and highlights the elements discussed.

There should be three major categories within this essay:

• Introduction (Logic Model Design)

• Summary of the model's elements with examples and rationale

• A set of recommendations with a timeline for implementation of the model

Your response should be at least 800 words in length. You are required to use at least your textbook as source material for your response. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying citations.
