On your personal computer at home that you use to complete your Herzing work - do the following:

RESEARCH NEW TECHNOLOGIES:

1. Research the various OSI Model levels used by your computer to access the internet.

2. What type of activity on your PC uses TCP? Why? Use Wireshark to confirm.

3. What type of activity on your PC uses UPD? Why? Use Wireshark to confirm.

4. What is your PC's IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway?

5. What are the hops that your PC travels to get to www.herzing.edu (use the Tracert command).

6. You need to determine if the following network site is accessible (www.herzing.edu) - use the Ping utility to check it out.

7. Use the Netstat command with the appropriate parameters to determine your PC's network statistics.
