As I agree with the post below that terrorism is Violence or threat of violence, against non-combatants or civilians usually motivated by political, religious, or ideological beliefs. I disagree that terrorism is stereotypically, believe to come from the Middle East. Today terrorisms is largely associated with radical Islamic groups and does not mean only in the Middle East.

So I need 200 words with references to support my view that terrorism is associated is mainly associated with radical Islam not necessary the middle east.

This is in response of the statement below:

There are many different types of terrorism, but the most ingrained vision is that of suicide bombings, hijacked airplanes, and public beheading."[2] Stereotypically, we look to the Middle East as the hotbed of most terrorist activity, and that prejudice is not without its merits, but the reality is that types of terrorism occur all over the world as people give up on political dialogue in favor of violent means. Rather than focusing on what types of terrorism there is, it's important to also understand the different motives behind it. Sometimes there is a systematic use of terror by a country's own government to control its population (state terrorism). Sometimes terrorism can be motivated by religious ideologies and grievances (religious terrorism). There is also a form of terrorism that is practiced just for the sake of terrorizing people, which is called pathological terrorism.

Coming to a universal definition of terrorism is important for policy because it gives a clear understanding of what types of crimes are deemed as terrorism. For example, Omar Mateen, the 29-year-old who killed at least 50 people at a gay nightclub in Florida 2016 pledged his allegiance to ISIS when the attack occurred. Therefore, this can be defined as an act of terror because his allegiance and actions were deemed necessary with the ideology of the "ISIS way." Terrorism is simply an act of terror by people who wish to utilize unethical practices to instill their ideologies, whether these ideologies are politically or religiously motivated, someone ends up on a death bed.
