A.O. 2 Create a security training plan

Purpose:

To create a security training plan that includes recommendations for a budget and contracts.

Assignment Description:

Because your privacy training went over so well last week, your department manager now wants you to create a plan for security training. She does not want you to create the training itself but she would like you to create a training plan that can be followed by an outside consultant.

Your training plan should include the following elements:

1. A listing of at least 10 items that should be covered during the security training.

2. Identify where the training should be held.

3. Identify how long the training should last.

4. Identify how long it will take to create the training materials.

5. Identify criteria for a consultant to lead the training (for example, should the consultant hold a credential, should the consultant have experience, etc.)

6. Create a budget for the training (How much will you pay the consultant, cost of the room, will you serve refreshments or snacks, cost of handout materials, etc.)

Write the training plan in the form of a contract that can be used to hire the consultant that will be creating and performing the security training.
